Iirc the only balancing that was done was to make the Condor's vertical/lateral thrusters actually exist. Taipan and the iFighter have been unchanged. iFighter is still the best to put an NPC in though. Taipan is much more player-friendly, and much more new-player friendly for Multicrew sessions with randoms.

Q1. Will elite NPC use chaff? Q2. Will Taipan's extra shield and hull better than F63's better maneuverability. So the final comparison will probably be (assuming NPC will use chaff) F63 Rogue F vs. Taipan Rogue F. BTW, some cmdrs say that NPC cannot hit well with plasma repeater. Is that correct?
